A Pakistani filmmaker with a BS in Film & TV from Indus University, Karachi. Syed Asad founded Cinegma Films at 24 — an independent production banner built on a single belief: that Pakistani stories deserve to be told without compromise.

His debut film Janjaal was shot in 34 hours on a student budget, had a theatrical release at Arena Cinemas, and went on to earn 14 international awards across 9 countries. He handled direction, editing, color grading, VFX, and 5.1 surround sound design — solo.

He also serves as Film Director and Editor at Burrak Organization's Silverlight Studios, leading production of narrative Islamic short content.
